The Matrice 4E is a compact, intelligent multi-sensor enterprise drone for geospatial work. For crime scenes, it captures aerial overviews, 3D reconstructions, and accurate scene maps quickly. It has a 4/3-inch, 20 MP wide-angle camera with a mechanical shutter (24 mm equivalent), a 48 MP medium telephoto camera (70 mm equivalent), a 48 MP telephoto camera (168 mm equivalent), and a laser rangefinder, all on a folding airframe of about 1,219 g. Flight time is up to 49 minutes at speeds up to 21 m/s. The wide-angle camera can shoot at 0.5-second intervals for fast mapping. A built-in RTK module gives centimeter-level positioning (1 cm + 1 ppm horizontal, 1.5 cm + 1 ppm vertical in RTK Fix mode). O4 Enterprise video transmission reaches up to 25 km, and omnidirectional obstacle sensing supports safer flight around structures and vehicles. Waypoint and 3D capture planning is done on the included remote controller, without a laptop, and the drone works in temperatures from -10°C to 40°C. A sister model with a thermal camera (Matrice 4T) is available for night and search work.
