This field chemical test kit gives rapid presumptive and confirmatory identification of illicit narcotics, using stable chemical ampoules with a 3-year shelf life. It is supplied with specific target assays for Heroin (5 tests), Cocaine (5 tests), and Amphetamines/Methamphetamine (5 tests). Colorimetric chemical reagent ampoules, held in protective plastic pouch shields, give clear colour reactions within minutes. The hermetically sealed ampoules are guaranteed for 3 years from the manufacture date, and the validated formulation is engineered to resist false-positive reactions from common over-the-counter cutting agents. Testing is presumptive and confirmatory for cocaine and amphetamines, in line with confirmatory test validation, and results are normally confirmed later by a crime laboratory. Other assays in this category are commonly available in the same format for cannabis (THC), MDMA/ecstasy, ketamine, opiates, LSD, and oxycodone/fentanyl, and are usually supplied in boxes of 10 tests.
