These are sturdy cardstock backing cards used as a final step in preserving lifted latent fingerprints, featuring a high-gloss front face for mounting lifted powder prints with a pre-printed case logging panel on the reverse. The heavy-duty, acid-free, non-curling cardstock is available in two gloss finishes - white, providing crisp photographic contrast for prints lifted with black powder, and black, providing superior visual contrast for prints lifted with aluminium or white powder - giving investigators the flexibility to match the card to the powder used. The reverse side is pre-printed with a comprehensive case log, date, officer, and sketch area, and the rigid, warp-resistant cardstock resists yellowing, moisture, and chemical fading. The cards are available in multiple standard sizes - 3" x 5", 4" x 6", 5.5" x 8.5", and 8½" x 11" - with the larger formats suited to palm print or footwear impression recovery, each supplied in packs of 100 individual cards.
