These are pre-cut hinge-lift films used for lifting and preserving latent prints developed with fingerprint powder. Each lifter combines a pre-cut, high-quality adhesive-backed lifting film with a hinged, foldable backing card, and a non-residue adhesive lifts the print cleanly without damage. The hinged design allows the lift to fold flat for secure storage and evidence submission. The range is available in three backing colors - transparent (allowing direct viewing against the original surface color and two-sided observation), white (providing a contrasting background for prints developed with black or dark powders), and black (providing a contrasting background for prints developed with white or light-colored powders) - giving investigators the flexibility to match the lifter to the powder and surface used. The lifters are supplied in two standard sizes, 1½" x 2" and 2" x 4", with larger 4" x 4" and 6" x 9" formats also available for palm print lifting, each supplied in packs of 6 per size (12 total per color pack).
